The DVD is split in 4 sections and contains 30 movies. Each movie has been carefully planned and edited to provide you with the best information in the minimum amount of time. We will start with an empty project and we will build everything together, step by step.
The first section explains the fundamental notions that need to be clearly understood in the photo-rendering settings. We will also see how to set up the new Lightworks lights.
The second section is a study on the new Lightworks material. Each material is composed by 6 different classes: Colour, Reflectance, Transparency, Displacement, Texture Space and Pipeline. Each class has a very important function, and each class contains many shaders to achieve different types of results. Most of the shaders are studied in this DVD with a real-life example of what they can be used to.
The third section gives useful tricks that you’ll always need when you are doing photo-renderings. Among them, you’ll find:
- How to complete seamless textures in Photoshop in order to use digital pictures to create photo-realistic materials.
- How to use billboard trees to have photo-realistic renders.
- How to map a sky dome picture and orient the sun with the ArchiCAD sun
- How to do Photo-Montage and align the camera with your picture easily.
In the last section, we put all the things that we learnt together to finish our project. We generate exterior renders, interior renders, night renders, and then we see how to enhance those renders in Photoshop, and how to mix them together.
